Connector-Tech ALS Pty Ltd was originally called Colourview Electronics (established 1973) and distributed a wide range of electronic components.
Due to staff expertise plus the establishment of various distributorships, the harsh environment connector side of the business steadily grew over the years to the point where we changed our company name to Connector-Tech ALS Pty Ltd.
In May 2010 in order to further emphasize the Connector-Tech difference we added the letters 'ALS' to the end of our company name. ALS stands for Air Land & Sea, three harsh environment areas where our military and commercial connectors, backshells and accessories are used frequently with great success (Of course our products can also be used indoors or anywhere high quality is critical).
