MIL-C-26482 connectors offer high density contact arrangements in a miniature circular metal shell.  They use a quick disconnect bayonet coupling for rapid positive mating and are environmentally sealed. Mil-C-26482 series 1 are intermateable, inter mountable and interchangeable with Mil-C-26482 series 2. This particular series comes with permanently

Features:

Rugged Shell
Aluminum alloy shell and hardware create a rugged connector with minimal weight. These connectors have been extensively used in commercial, military and aerospace environments. Standard shells accept all MIL-C-26482 accessories.

Gold plated solder contacts
Solder Contacts are gold plated per MIL-G-45204 Type II. Socket contacts are closed to eliminate damage from test probes and to help correct misaligned pins during engagement

Good current and voltage capabilities
Up to 22 amps with wire gauges from size 24 up to size 16 AWG wire. Some are rated at 1500Vac and others at 2300Vac (sea level)

Environmentally sealed on 4 levels
A complete environmental seal is achieved via a number of individual seals a various points. They use separate individual wire sealing grommet on the rear, through which each wire is fed. The rear grommet is compressed by the back shell to achieve a seal there. A “J” type gland sealing back shell is also available as an option  to give a higher level of protection (recommended for high pressure jets of water).
