All SMH plugs are now manufactured in the Anderson factory using the same materials and are 100% interchangeable and intermateable with the Anderson plug. We import and distribute the whole range from SMH as well as Anderson and hold substantial stocks in our Brisbane store.
Overview
The Anderson plug was originally designed by Anderson Power Products, this genderless connection system provides a simple, low cost solution for power interconnection which has become an industry standard for items such as fork lift batteries, backup power & Telecom/Data com. There are solutions for various current requirements ranging from 10 amperes up to 700 amperes.
We stock and sell housings, contacts, handles, dust covers, mounting kits and complete parts.
There are 2 main styles available - modular single pole (Powerpole) and multipole (SB / SY).
Modular single pole Anderson plug (Powerpole) Features
