Connector Shielding Adapters
Banding Adapters provide an economical means of terminating overall and/or individual cable shielding.
Many variations are available to suit both applications where operational integrity and quality assurance dictates that the cable assembly cannot be repaired and those where future maintenance or repair may be required.
In their simplest form, a crimp ring or spin coupling nut is used to terminate single or double over-all cable shields or individual cable shields. There is also a dual termination platform version for separate termination of overall cable shields and outer protective overbraids.
Also available, is a banding backshell with a cable clamp that conceals the termination platform providing further operating reliability and giving additional cable strain relief.
