Tajimi Electronics connectors are manufactured exclusively in Japan.
The range includes waterproof circular and coaxial connectors.
The circular multipin series are suitable for depths from 20 meters to 100 meters with pin layouts from 2 to 37 contacts. Voltage ratings are as high as 900 Vrms.
The shell material is nickel plated brass and zinc alloy and a stainless steel type is available for particularly harsh applications.
The cable entry seal of waterproof connectors is often the weak point as many manufacturers
rely on a one-size-fits-all seal with wide variations in the quality of seal from the smallest to the largest diameter. Tajimi ensures the waterproofing integrity of their connectors by offering a range of cable entry diameters to select from.
Hermetically sealed receptacles for pressure and vacuum vessels are also available.
A range of waterproof coaxial connectors will be introduced before the end of the year and we will forward details of these separately.
